The End
Due to having too much to do these days, and having very little free time to update this blog, it's time for it to end - thanks to anyone who followed it over these few years, I've enjoyed writing every single update on albums I could ever find, but all good things must come to an end. Cheers...

New Enter Shikari Single Premieres Tomorrow
The new Enter Shikari one-off single, Rat Race, gets its premiere tomorrow (October 31st) at 7.30 (GMT) on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show. The video for it should follow later that night. The single is the third and final stand-alone single for the band in 2013, and will be released fully on November 4th.

Enter Shikari Announce Last One-Off Single

Keane Split
Reports have surfaced that Keane will split after the release of their greatest hits album in November. The band have cited the reason being that they want to work on their solo projects. They released four albums (and a mini-album) - Hopes And Fears (2004), Under The Iron Sea (2006), Perfect Symmetry (2008), Night Train (the mini album, 2010), and (in my opinion) their masterpiece, Strangeland (2012).

New One Night Only Album Details?
Well, since there's been nothing that resembles news for several weeks, why not a little bit of speculation? Rumours are that One Night Only's third album is called Where The Sleepless Go, and this is the tracklist:
I'm The Sun
When You Call
Can't Cure My Appetite
Plasticine
TV
Got Its Charms
Erase
Wolves
Luck That Keeps You Guessing
Get Around To It
Tranquilise
Talk You Down
Paper Trail
Other things to note:
- No sign of Games, a song that was supposed to be released earlier this year but never turned up (but sounded incredible live - so it would be disappointing if it never surfaced!)
- Other songs that were indicated to be on the new album were called The Bittersweet, Ties We're Bound To and Night On Earth; these were taken from the same source - although Can't Cure My Appetite was also on this early list - so maybe (if this is true) the other songs got renamed... or there are a lot of B-sides out there!
- 13 songs seems like it might be a bit too much, but it's not like no one ever released a 13 track album before.
- The album is supposed to be less of the straightforward but epic pop of the last album, and more experimental... but time will tell.
- The album is slated for release in March/April 2014.

The lyrics were also revealed:
Some saw the sun
Some saw the smoke
Some heard the gun
Some bent the bow
Sometimes the wire must tense for the note
Caught in the fire, say oh
We're about to explode
Carry your world, I'll carry your world
Some far away
Some search for gold
Some dragon to slay
Heaven we hope is just up the road
Show me the way, Lord, because I
I'm about to explode
Carry your world, I'll carry your world
Carry your world and all your hurt

White Lies Revealing New Album Clips
White Lies are uploading 90-second clips of their new album over the next week, before the full release on August 12th. Every day, a new song will get the treatment. Friday saw track 1's sample - Big TV - and yesterday saw track 2 - There Goes Our Love Again. Obviously, the latter has already been released as a single, so they just linked to the full track. Today should see First Time Caller, assuming that they're doing it in tracklist order and they're not counting the "Space" interludes - as they are under 90 seconds in length! Either way, check here in the evenings over the next week to hear the clips.

Hard-Fi have uploaded a new demo of a new song, a cover of a Clash song, Straight To Hell, which you can hear here. The song is the closest we've come to hearing a new fourth album track, after the sampler they uploaded in March (here). These songs are likely to be changed a bit by the fact that their guitarist left the band a few months ago, but hopefully they're not changed too much, cos they sound pretty good!

Editors To Premiere New Single
Editors have announced that their new single will get its first play on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show, probably at 19.30 (BST) on Monday 6th May. The single is the first taken from their upcoming fourth album, which is currently untitled. The single's name has not been revealed - but my money's on it being either Nothing or A Ton Of Love, as they were two massive songs that they played live!
However, nothing has been confirmed yet.
EDIT: It has now been confirmed that the single is A Ton Of Love.

Editors Tease New Album
Editors' frontman, Tom Smith, has posted eleven pictures on Twitter - these consist of lyrics from the band's upcoming fourth album. It is speculated that he just posted in order of the tracklist, and judging from the videos they posted while recording, and what we've already heard, this is what we have.
01. The Weight Of Your Love
02. Sugar
03. A Ton Of Love
04. What Is This Thing Called Love?
05. Honesty
06. Nothing
07. Formaldehyde
08. Hyena
09. Two Hearted Spider
10. The Sting
11. Bird Of Prey
Tracks 8 and 10 are the ones I'm unsure of. The lyric 'the world looks so ridiculous to me' was used in a song that we haven't heard live (but in the recording videos) so it was either Hyena or The Phone Book (the latter of which I'm told is an acoustic song, which this is not). We've already heard track 10 (The Sting) but it didn't have the lyric 'I'm the ribs in your chest' - however, Tom also posted that The Sting was sounding awesome; and it's unlikely that it wouldn't have made the cut - therefore, I'm guessing it's track 10. All the others I'm fairly sure of. Even if three of the first four tracks end in the word 'love'.
But, then again, this is pure speculation. Details on the album are suspected to be released soon - the album has two potential titles; "The Weight Of Your Love" and "Every Conversation Within You". It is also suspected to be released early July. But, again, there is no concrete information - they're getting very good at teasing!

Yet Another New Hadouken! Single
Yes, another Hadouken! single will be premiered on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show at some point (no specific time is given, but it will probably be soon after 19.30 GMT) tomorrow (16th January). The song is called Levitate, and is taken from the band's upcoming third album, entitled Every Weekend, which is due out 18th February.
The release is technically the seventh release from the new album - following Mecha Love and Oxygen (which are bonus tracks included with the album), Parasite and Bad Signal (released as the first 'proper' singles from the album last year), Bliss Out (included in FIFA 13) and Daylight (released as a single with Drumsound & Bassline Smith). This means that after tomorrow, only five tracks will remain relatively unknown - except for the fact that many different previews have already made their way onto the web in various forms, and that one track (Spill Your Guts) is just another producer's single with vocals on top (it sounds amazing though!) That leaves us with The Vortex, Stop Time and The Comedown as relative unknowns, and As One for those who saw the band on their April tour last year. This album has been a long time coming!

Editors Enter The Studio
Finally, Editors have announced that they will be entering the studio soon to record their new album. The record will be the band's fourth, following 2009's epic In This Light And On This Evening, and also the first with their new line-up, having replaced guitarist Chris Urbanowicz in 2012 with two new members.
There are twelve songs set to be recorded for the album: six that have been played in full live (Sugar, Nothing, Two Hearted Spider, The Sting, A Ton Of Love and Formaldehyde), two that have been played acoustically (What Is This Thing Called Love?, The Weight Of Your Love), and four unheard (Honesty, The Phone Book, Hyena and Bird Of Prey - the latter of which has been around since the sessions for their last album). Other than that, no more information is available - except for the fact that the band clearly can't get enough of the word 'love'. Also, spiders and the weight of stuff.
