White Lies To Announce New Album

White Lies are set to announce their third album early next week (June 4th) - following 2011's Ritual. This album is set to have more of an 80s electropop feel to it. The first single is called Getting Even, and is a five-minute epic sing-along! Other songs set for inclusion are First Time Caller, Mother Tongue, Be Your Man, There Goes Our Love Again and Big TV (all of these have all been played live with the exception of Big TV).

Pet Shop Boys Preview New Song

Pet Shop Boys have put a minute-long preview of their upcoming song Fluorescent up on YouTube. The song is taken from their twelfth album, Electric, due out July 15th.

Preview Of Three New Editors Songs

Here are previews of three new Editors songs off their new album The Weight Of Your Love - Formaldehyde, Sugar and What Is This Thing Called Love? They were played on a Dutch radio station last night.

The album will be released on July 1st, and will be preceded by a single, A Ton Of Love, due out 7th May - the video can be seen here.

There will be a special edition, with acoustic versions of Hyena and Nothing, along with three new tracks: The Sting (which was played as early as 2011), Get Low, and Comrade Spill My Blood.

Editors To Premiere New Single

Editors have announced that their new single will get its first play on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show, probably at 19.30 (BST) on Monday 6th May. The single is the first taken from their upcoming fourth album, which is currently untitled. The single's name has not been revealed - but my money's on it being either Nothing or A Ton Of Love, as they were two massive songs that they played live!
 However, nothing has been confirmed yet.

EDIT: It has now been confirmed that the single is A Ton Of Love.
